she lures me in by the teasing and tickling of her fingertips and leads me to a corner where she curves her lips
genlty across my neck, whispering sensations that could only be mine...
"would you have me for the moment?" she smiles.
i give and pretend that she had as well.
the liar.
she had me more than a moment's worth.
and all i gained was another death,
which could not only be mine alone.

in UST, main bldg. lobby. Thursday, 2 weeks ago. 13:05
ian: ayoko na. tinatamad na ako. last week sabi niyo "next week". ngayong next week na, next week pa ulit. kung di na ngayon, wag na lang. wag na tayo magpractice ulit ever.
me: (gally, ang dramers naman) promise, by next week, naasikaso ko na yun. it's just one day taken out of my week. 150 pesos lang naman yun eh. Trina and the others can handle the Koreans.
ben: ano yun, walang drums?
me: oo, bakit? di ba pwede yun?
ben: ano ka ba, hindi pwede! kung walang drums, eh di walang soul.
...
my life, these days, feels like this. without soul.
like a heart that lost rythm. like a drummer, odd-timing in the wrong song.
i just can't bring myself to write everything, or at least the idea of it here in my blog. the past two filler posts were just...well, filler posts.
hopefully, i'll start blogging regularly again.
meanwhile, thank you to those people whom i've confided with and understood, and are still understanding.
i love you all.

12/30/05 Macapagal area 23:00 pyro olympics. behind The Mall of Asia
jorem and i were on our way down off the stage, when suddenly
what the heck?? he's going this way?! ok. relax. are you going to shake his hand or just walk past him 'cause you know, who the hell are you shake his hand?? you're just a lowly photographer who's camera is just a freak'n digi-instamatic! dammit! don't tell me to relax! drat. here he comes. alright, this is your chance. don't shy on this one now!
"ang husay... ang husay. ang husay talaga..."
those were the only words that came out of my mouth as i held out my hand to shake his. and i didn't care if he wasn't going to shake my hand. i'd understand. after all, he is Karl Roy, THE Karl Roy.

track #67: the chasm beyond the churning foams
03:00am 05/18/05 iloilo to metro manila on-broard the Princess Of Negros.
...
"what if the sea, as we see it now...beyond the splashes, beyond the churning whites beside the boat is no body of water... instead, just open space with jagged rocks on the bottom, sharp mountain peaks of that sort..." Lissa said, with her hands and feet on the railing. i felt nervous for her.
"it's like a waterfall," she continued. "but you can't see the bottom."
"... that's scary..." i said, more in wonder than in fear...but readied myslef in case she slips.
"yup," she agreed, her eyes, still as the moonlight, stared off to the ocean of stars, as the wind embraced her body. "one wrong step...and you're gone."

so much bloggable stuff have piled up, i don't know where to start. so for a filler post, here's what i've been up to this summer: - 'slamming the mat' regularly (and loving it). para kung harangin man ako sa college... - enrolled in UST last friday. made a new friend. - summer camps. was a staff this recent CFC youth camp, which was directed by ate stef. i'll be going to an ISCF leadership camp this coming may 9, in Iloilo. - been reading House Of Leaves and some of Edgar Allan Poe's works. yeah, suspense is my thing nowadays. and some Filipino lit. like works of Jun Cruz Reyes and Bob Ong. they amuse me very much.
- and that's my dear friend, nikki, down there. (i hope you don't mind me posting your cute, adorable li'l friendster pic here). "It's like peanut butter but better! (Pwede na?)" and almost suddenly, i had an idea: choconut sandwich yEhessss *drooling* although, unlike the icecream sanwich i toasted before, this is certainly going to feel dry on the tongue... but no less yummy. Aahhh... *more drooling* - i've also been reviewing my highschool physics, studying those lessons we didn't get to tackle. yeah. boring, you'd say. but i like it. even if it makes me look geeky. well, i better like it or else... haha. agh. we still haven't found a place for me to stay. near UST, i mean. ...maybe i'll just pitch a tent there and hunt wild game for breakfast, as suggested by april. hmm...pwede. - i've been a Alien Versus Predator addict lately. i've been downloading the comics and reading them the whole afternoon. haha. i'm such a geek. i even have the game on the other pc! - hannah and i had to chaperone patty and yonni twice already in greenbelt. "we really should be getting paid for this..." -hannah. we watched Closer (i like the movie's soundtrack). then for their next date, Finding Neverland(<--really good movie.). and not to for get the CAFE BOLA Incident. i don't think i can ever go back there again... i miss having lunch with cola, hannah, and patty...
- my current crush: kelly misa. she's just soo... haaaaayy.... (babe-post soon to come!) - been watching LOST episodes (just finished ep.20 last night) and Scrubs. ...

track #65: to my highschool days and beyond
i remember writing this in one of my many early mornings during 3rd year, floaty headed and all, on an early sunrise in Daang Hari. i searched and failed, but was found by the words instead...
may the waves of uncertainty
crash into my shores.
may the passing days haste
as they always have before.
yet let the sunset be my state of mind
to be an echoing portrait
of the things i left behind.
...
congratulations batchmates
thank you friends
thank you Lord
highschool was fun (i think..haha.)
although i really don't feel like talking about it right now...
but senior year was especially fun. =)
sigh*
...
it's feels nice not to worry about anything, even just for four days.
on monday, i'll be back at school and finally get those last two signatures on my clearance paper. get my grades. rush to UST. get back to Cavite for our youth camp in Paliparan(that's right, faith. CFC. embrace the fragrance. ). Applied Physics. there. happy? "whoa. applied physics?!?panindigan mo yan ha!" -sir igen.
agh. enough already.

i'm not really sure if i'm even going to say to my younger friends or (to myself0 that "the best years of my life were during highschool." like how most of my older friends say it.
i don't know what to feel.

track #61: it's about time. right, pat? :D
Hannah invited her close friends to come with her family and family-friends to their villa
in puerto azul, for her birthday celebration. It was a three-day stay, January 7-9. we got there at around 11 pm, and went to the beach the next afternoon.
here are a couple of pics i took:

the sunset was behind the mountains. but it was alright.

hey faith! ask Iza if she still remembers the F.R.O.G. bracelet she gave me, will ya? :) thanks.
it's still with me, somewhere in my room...i think..

--how do you turn this into black and white using adobe photoshop? i was using my uncle's
digicam, and there was no one with us who can read Chinese.

"i thought i saw a flying pig..." -cola

---
the last night:

--taken by patty.
"...trying to keep the love alive..." -cola
"hey, cool! angel wings!" -patty.
---
by the way, my prom date's somewhere up there in those pictures. hehe. yes, there are other pics. but they didn't want me to post them. (ahh..so that's why there were no faces...)
sayang nga eh. she didn't want me to post the "hey sexy momma" picture of her on the beach. (i'd bet you'd kill me if i did eh? >:) )
speaking of the prom...
i'll be posting some pics soon after i get the other photos.
so...

currently feeling: nauseated from the bus ride home.
